Spišská Nová Ves leaving point to Slovak Paradise National park, with for mining and metallurgical history, known also for the highest church tower in Slovakia or even in the Central Europe (87m). Town has the longest lens-shaped centre in the Central Europe. Stará Ľubovňa castle with adjacent ancestral village is another tourist regional attraction.

Through the Gothic route you get to know a very rich treasure of cultural and historical sights of Spiš and Gemer. It is the first tourist route of that kind not only in this region, but in the whole Slovakia that documents the culture of 33 towns. The tourist route is a circle 276 km long.
